Windswept

I know what you want. You want a story that won’t surprise you. That will confirm what you already know. That won’t make you see higher or further or differently. You want a flat story. An immobile story. You want dry, yeastless factuality.

Went shopping today:

Maynard bought me a Eddie Bauer VEST for Valentine’s Day.  He bought himself a nice jacket because he’s never warm, too. (:

Other purchases:

Vest for Elmo from Build-a-bear.  Keep him warm when he goes out because he’s still losing his hair ):

( ^ Not the pair I bought, but for the sake of aesthetics. hehe. ) Express had a big sale!  Jeans were only $17.99 for guys and girls — and if you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day present for guys, their long sleeve button up shirts were really nice and on sale as well (:

Boys and their video games.  I thought I loved video games a lot for a girl when I was younger, thought I could even compare myself to boys who loved video games — just different kinds.  And then I met Maynard.

Is it ’ too childish ’ for boys to play video games when they’re past a certain age?  I had always considered it maybe a certain ‘stage’ in life, where you kinda get over it, and only big dorks play forever and work at a store like GameStop (no offense to anyone who does, obviously).  But my Uncle Bobby [ my auntie’s boyfriend ] plays video games a lot still, and Auntie Baby can tell you all about them.  So .. now I don’t even know.  Anyway, that’s part of Maynard’s birthday present.

I have a gigantic headache.

goodnight.
